Take 2 Markets, Melbourne’s premier women’s recycled fashion event, is following the success of its 2011 Geelong markets with the first of its sell-out Market Days for 2012 on Sunday March 4 at Geelong West Town Hall in Pakington Street.

Take 2 Markets is the ultimate destination for market shoppers and sellers of quality fashion clothing, shoes and accessories. Two other Market Days are scheduled on Sunday July 29 and Sunday October 7.

Dress to impress for a fraction of the price. You don’t have to search through trash for treasure – your choice of cocktail, evening, summer, winter, designer, new and pre-loved, vintage and one-off classics, chain store bargains – handbags, jewellery, hats, shoes, sunnies and more.

Fight Cancer Foundation has two Recycle Shops located at 203 Pakington Street, Geelong West, and Shop 3, 6 High Street, Drysdale. Both will be represented at Take 2 Markets – great places to pick up a bargain and support fellow Australians living with cancer.

The annual Breakfast for Hope for Fight Cancer Foundation’s John Opie House will be held at MONA, Moorilla Estate, on Friday March 23, 2012.

Guest speaker is ‘Dancing with the Stars’ popular judge, Helen Richey. Helen is one of the world’s leading coaches and most sought-after adjudicators. She has judged the national dance championships of almost every country in the world and coached World Champions, British Champions and Australian Champions. Many of the professional dancers in all of the Channel 7 hit series ‘Dancing with the Stars’ have been trained by Helen.

The Breakfast, in the Eros function room at MONA at Berriedale, is the annual fundraising event for the Fight Cancer Foundation’s John Opie House in Murray Street, Hobart. The House is a “home away from home” for Tasmanian patients and their families who need to travel to Hobart for medical treatment.
