Leadership is important on the field and in the office. It means taking responsibility, ownership or in the case of TNT Customer Care, a pie to the face!
Hosting a Footy Colours Day event requires a team effort, and the commitment of both staff and students at St Patrick’s Parish School means they are the winners of this year’s Team Spirit Award.
The Coach’s Award recognises a quiet achiever who wore their team’s colours with pride and embraced the spirit of Footy Colours Day in 2017.
An important accolade, the Role Model Award recognises a Footy Colours Day participant that not only wears their team’s colours with pride, but sets a positive example for members of their community.
This year’s Chairman’s Award recognises the match-winning fundraising efforts of Hoxton Park Public School in New South Wales.
This year’s Try of the Year appropriately comes from North Queensland.
In 2017, Civilex put in one of the most outstanding team performances we’ve ever seen for Footy Colours Day.
Our 2017 Best on Ground award goes to Heywood Rural Health, who provided one of our favourite Footy Colours Day photos of the year.
Flying high this year were Geelong-based finance, leasing and risk-management specialists, Morris Finance.
Bursting on to the Footy Colours Day scene this year was one of Australia’s biggest mining operations, Mount Isa Mines in Queensland.
