Kicking off the Footy Colours Day 2020 season!
We are thrilled to be kicking off the 2020 Footy Colours Day season… albeit a little differently.
After an extremely challenging first half of the year, we could all use a reason to celebrate and have something in our calendars to look forward to. Footy Colours Day is the perfect way to boost morale and bring your community together while helping kids with cancer.
We know things are going to look a little different this year, so we’ve updated our Tips & Ideas hub to help you celebrate Footy Colours Day wherever you may be.
Check out new games and activities such as footy trivia, Footy Colours Day fines and footy favourite recipes (plus lots more!) over on our Tips & Ideas hub. Keep your eyes peeled for new resources and activities dropping over the next couple of months; for those of you still working from home, we’ve got you covered!
We’re excited to have the support of an incredible squad of ambassadors once again. From returning superstars like Luke Brooks and Kezie Apps, to new recruits including Sam Llyod and Felise Kaufusi, our player ambassadors donate their time and profile to support kids with cancer, and we couldn’t be more grateful. To check out our star line-up click here.
Alongside our player ambassadors we have a posse of Footy Colours Day kids. They have all experienced our education support program first hand during their own cancer treatment and recovery. Head over to our ambassador page to read their incredible stories, and to see how your fundraising efforts make a difference.
We have loads more exciting Footy Colours Day announcements and updates to come. Make sure you follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay in the know!
This year, more than ever, we need your support. COVID-19 has disrupted our way of life, but unfortunately childhood cancer doesn’t stop, even in the face of a global pandemic. Register here to join us on the Footy Colours Day team this footy season to help kids with cancer.
