Hilltop – Albury/Wodonga

Inexpensive accommodation close to a patients treating hospital can often be hard to find, and having a loved one nearby is a critical aspect of the recovery process for cancer patients.

Hilltop, the Fight Cancer Foundations accommodation centre located in Albury Wodonga, is a home away from home for patients and their families who need to be close to their treating hospital.

The 20 room facility offers patients, carers and their family high quality, affordable accommodation adjacent to Albury Base Hospital. Just 50 meters via a wheelchair friendly path to the Albury Hospital, Hilltop relieves patients and carers of undue financial hardship and the stress of having to undertake frequent long distance travel to access treatment centers.

Each modern-styled room is fully furnished and includes a kitchen equipped with quality appliances, dining facilities, and en-suite bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided on a weekly basis, and rooms are serviced every three days. Off street car parking is available free of charge.

There are interconnecting rooms for families, and rooms for guests requiring wheelchair access. The facility also contains a large under cover balcony with outdoor lounge and dining furniture, and BBQ facilities available in The Hub – an inviting communal space located on every floor.
