Join thousands of Australians by wearing your favourite team’s colours and hosting an event at your school, organisation, group or club to raise much-needed funds!
Who can take part and how?
Anyone can take part in Footy Colours Day! Whether at work, at school or at home, we need you on our team this year more than ever to help those most vulnerable to COVID-19.
Your Footy Colours Day event can take any shape or form you like - we love seeing how creative our participants get! To help you host your best possible Footy Colours Day, we have created a bunch of resources and ideas to help you get the ball rolling!
Some ways in which you might like to host your event this year include:
hold a socially distanced morning tea, BBQ, pizza night or sausage sizzle
boost morale and social connection by incorporating games and activities
get everyone to wear their favourite team's colours no matter where they are!

Step 4: Wear your colours and make a donation to help kids with cancer
Why host an event?
When a child is diagnosed with cancer their world is turned upside down overnight. With treatment starting instantly, they face, on average, more than 6 months away from their school and school friends.
Our education programs help these kids during a time when they need it most so they can return to their normal life without the significant social and emotional impacts of having to drop a year level.
By hosting a Footy Colours Day event you are ensuring these kids can put their cancer behind them, reach their full potential at school and get back to doing what they do best - being a kid!
