Albury Wodonga
Our Hilltop Accommodation Centre provides patients and their carers with comfortable and affordable accommodation close to the Albury Wodonga Cancer Centre, the Albury Base Hospital, and other local treatment centres.
Facilities
All suites have individually controlled reverse cycle air-conditioning, a television, microwave, refrigerator, iron, kettle, crockery and a range of utensils. Bathrooms feature vanity, storage, shower and toilet. Some rooms also feature balconies and all enjoy sweeping views across the Murray Valley.
Each floor features a friendly communal area called ‘The Hub’. The Hub boasts a comfortable lounge area with television and stereo, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area where you can enjoy a quiet meal or mix and mingle with other guests.
To complete your home away from home, The Hub also features a large undercover balcony with outdoor lounge and dining furniture, and BBQ facilities.
Please do not book into Hilltop Accommodation Centre if you have COVID-19 or Flu like symptoms.
Perform a RA Test the day prior to your booking, if positive please advise and reschedule.
A face mask is to be worn in common areas and please practice good health hygiene.
Staying With Us
Bookings & Rates
Bookings may be made by contacting Hilltop at (02) 6021 4874. Priority is given to cancer patients, however where possible and if rooms are available, Fight Cancer Foundation will make accommodation available to patients having to travel to receive other medical treatments.
Please note, Victoria and New South Wales Health Departments provide financial assistance to patients and carers in many circumstances. Information on eligibility for travel and/or accommodation assistance can be provided by your General Practitioner, Specialist, Hospital Social Worker, and the Hilltop team. Check-in and out
Check-in time is between the hours of 9.15am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Arrival Schedules can be arranged outside these hours by contacting us during normal office hours.
Parking
Off-street car parking is available free of charge. Limited undercover secure parking is also available.
Laundry and Linen
Bed linen and towels are provided on a weekly basis and rooms are serviced every Friday or upon guest departure. Guest laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) are available free of charge.
The philosophy of Hilltop is to provide patients and their carers with a home away from home when they need it most. We hope that you will feel comfortable and secure during your stay at Hilltop.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available with login instructions accessible on compendiums in each room.
Extra Information
Visitors
Visitors are welcome, but must be met at the front entrance and signed in and out of the building. We are unable to accommodate visitors overnight unless prior arrangements have been made.
Valuables
As there is no facility for securing valuables, we advise that you refrain from bringing them with you. Hilltop does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to your valuables.
